AdBlue OFF in ACM / UDM / DCU module
Urea system disabling in the separate dosing control unit (Bosch DCU17PC42 / PC43 and others) together with the engine ECU.
On many recent vehicles the logic of the urea dosing system is moved from the engine ECU into a separate controller: DCU (Dosing Control Unit), ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module) or UDM (Urea Dosing Module), e.g. Bosch DCU17PC42 / DCU17PC43. Older modules had no fault memory and could simply be unplugged; newer ones store their own faults and drive the dashboard warnings, so their software must be modified too.
Typical vehicles
- Hyundai Starex / H1 2.5 CRDi (Denso);
- Kia Mohave 3.0 CRDi 2019+, Kia Bongo 2.5 CRDi, Kia Sportage 1.6 CRDi 2018+, Kia Carnival 2.2 CRDi;
- Hyundai / Kia / Genesis 2021+ with MD1CS012 + VD1CP030;
- Renault Trafic 1.6 dCi 120 / 125 hp — and others.
A typical symptom is a fault that cannot be cleared even with OEM diagnostic tools — for example P20EE (SCR efficiency below threshold) stored in the dosing module.
What we need
Reads of both units: the engine ECU and the ACM / DCU. The urea system must always be disabled in both controllers at the same time. Mention the module type in the comment and attach both files in one archive.
Upload your original file and tick the option. Available with or without tuning.
Emission-related modifications (CAT, DPF/OPF, EGR, AdBlue/SCR, SAI) are supplied for off-road, motorsport and export use only, where permitted by local law. The customer is solely responsible for compliance with the regulations of their country.
