Restoration of the original factory software — after a failed write or a tune made elsewhere.

Sometimes an owner tuned the car elsewhere and later wants the factory software back — for example for a dealer visit — but the original file was never saved. Another common case is an interrupted or failed write made with low-quality equipment, after which the ECU no longer communicates over OBD.

In most cases the ECU can be recovered. Send us the current read of the ECU (full read via bench/boot mode if OBD is no longer possible) together with the ECU hardware and software numbers. We will prepare the original software for your exact ECU version from our database or rebuild a stock-equivalent file.
