AdBlue / SCR OFF
Complete software disabling of the urea injection system: no warnings, no countdown, no start block.
SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) injects a urea solution — AdBlue / DEF — into the exhaust to reduce NOx emissions. The system has a tank, heaters, pump, injector, NOx sensors and its own complex diagnostics. When something fails, the car shows a countdown and eventually blocks the engine start.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to drain the AdBlue tank? — No, in most cases it is not required.
- What happens to the warnings and the countdown? — All SCR warnings and the remaining range counter are disabled.
- Do I need to remove the DPF or catalyst? — No. The DPF keeps working normally unless you order DPF OFF as well.
- Does it affect engine life, fuel consumption or smoke? — No.
- Will Check Engine stay on? — No, all SCR-related faults are disabled; diagnostics of other systems stay active.
- Do I need to refill AdBlue afterwards? — No.
Why owners choose SCR OFF
- Low reliability of heaters, pumps and NOx sensors;
- Engine start blocked when a fault appears or the level is low;
- Expensive parts and long waiting times.
Some cars (Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, Ford, Renault and others) have a separate dosing control unit — see ACM / DCU OFF.
