Chip tuning Stage 1 / Stage 2
Optimised engine calibration for more power and torque — Stage 1 for stock cars, Stage 2 for cars with hardware upgrades.
Chip tuning is the modification of the engine control unit (ECU) software. We work on the original file read from your ECU and adjust the maps that limit power and torque: boost pressure, injection quantity and timing, ignition advance, torque limiters and smoke limiters. The result is a stronger, more responsive engine that stays within safe component limits.
Stage 1
Stage 1 is a software-only calibration for a car with completely stock hardware. Typical gains are 15–35% power on turbocharged petrol engines and 20–40% torque on turbo diesels. Stage 1 is the best choice for daily driving: smooth power delivery, no change to service intervals and, on diesels, often a small reduction in fuel consumption under normal driving.
Stage 2
Stage 2 is a calibration for cars with upgraded hardware — typically a downpipe or a decat/DPF-delete exhaust, an upgraded intercooler and intake. The software is adjusted for the lower exhaust back-pressure and better cooling, which allows higher boost and a further increase in power. Please list your hardware modifications in the comment field when ordering.
What we need from you
- The original (stock) file read from the ECU — full read or OBD read, whatever your tool supports;
- Vehicle make, model, year, engine and power;
- The tool used for reading (Autotuner, KESS3, Flex, CMD, PCMflash, etc.) and any hardware modifications.
Our approach
- Every file is calibrated individually by hand — no generic "one-size" maps;
- Checksums must be corrected by your tool — the file is ready to write;
- Diagnostics and all OEM safety strategies stay active unless you ask otherwise;
- Free revisions if the car shows any issue with our file.
The power figures depend on the condition of the engine, fuel quality and other factors and may differ from car to car. Tuning should only be performed on a healthy engine.
