Speed limiter OFF (Vmax)
Removal or adjustment of the factory top-speed limiter on cars, vans and trucks.
Many European, Korean, Japanese and American vehicles have a factory top-speed limit in software. Examples: Volkswagen Crafter 2.0 TDI 109 hp limited to 90 km/h, some Kia Carnival 2.2 CRDi versions limited to 108 km/h, Dodge Ram 3.0 EcoDiesel, and most German cars limited at 250 km/h. Trucks often have limits of 85–100 km/h that can be raised or lowered.
The option is available on its own or together with power tuning. Supported diesel ECUs include Bosch EDC16, EDC17 and MD1, Siemens/Continental SID20x/SID30x/SID807, Delphi CRD2/3 and DCM; petrol ECUs include Bosch MED17/MG1, Simos and many others. Please note that on some cars the limit is also stored in the transmission or gateway module.
