Immobilizer OFF
Software disabling of the immobilizer in the engine ECU — for faulty keys, antennas or replacement ECUs.
The immobilizer is an anti-theft system built from the key transponder, the antenna coil in the ignition lock, the immobilizer/BCM module and the engine ECU. With age, components fail: the engine does not start with the original key, or starts only from time to time, a red/orange key or padlock symbol appears, and code P0513 may be stored.
We offer immobilizer disabling by reprogramming the engine control unit. After the procedure the engine starts with the standard key. The option is also useful when installing a used ECU.
We only provide this service to vehicle owners. We may request proof of ownership.
